pieces of We float away on the winds of deception
and I can feel the rainfall of heartache
washing over the remains of you and I
forever incomplete outside of our We Reality
You and I are now living in a fragmented reality
one that makes no sense
one where trust no longer exists
because you chose to violate We with lies and deceipt
and I blame myself more than anything
because I allowed love to lead me beyond my senses
and past my subconscious mind's attempts
to snap me out of that seductive We existence
Broken and confused, violated and negated
by your continuing refusal to open up
and just this one time ... tell me the truth
forever freeing me from illusions death grip
because even now, I love you more than life
and I can't imagine breathing outside of We
but I have to ... you've left me no other choice
but to find a new place in this fragmented reality
If only you had come clean ... not lied to me
We could have survived
because I would forgive you anything
even this transgression from We to ... you and I
torn between these intense emotions
the feeling of betrayal and the agony of seperation
I find myself alone on this precipice
with only two choices before me ...
to love you more than I hate you
to stay with you even if I don't trust you
because even broken We makes more sense
than trying to learn to breath in this fragmented reality
